Central Plant
Most of the work on Phase 1 of our project (the relocation of the playground and new central plant) has been completed. We have already gone through two weeks of testing the new chilled water packaged system and cooling towers, which are performing well. In addition, most of the irrigation and landscaping around the central plant has already been completed.
Building Permit for Building and Parking Lot
We originally anticipated beginning construction on the paving and parking lot modifications on Monday, May 5, 2007. However, the plans were sent back to the architects with a number of questions from the City Plan Checking Department. The response and resolution to these issues required that several of the drawings be revised. We have, therefore, experienced a three week delay in obtaining a building permit and the start of Phase 2. We were assured by the City that a building permit would be forthcoming on Wednesday, May 30. Tellepsen anticipates major parking lot modifications to begin no later than Monday, June 4, 2007.

- That the Phase 2 project may start in God's good and perfect timing.
- That the architects and engineers have provided adequate answers and the required modifications, so that a building permit will be granted soon.
- That the Lord would provide those involved in the construction process with sound thinking and wisdom so that disruptions on Sundays might be minimized.
- That the Lord would oversee and help our contractor provide for safe working conditions for the workers on site.
- That the Lord would place his hands on this project and on our church, and richly bless both.
- That we all would continue to be joyful and ever mindful of the vision and purpose that God has given us for this project.
- That we would continue to be open and aware of God's abundant provisions and blessings in our lives.
