This past Sunday, Pastor Mark led us in the groundbreaking worship service for our new Children's building. Our entire church met in the parking lot where the new building is going to be built and dedicated that spot for the Lord.
Our Pastor led the opening prayer, and Larry Indermuehle, Chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee, introduced our guests. Then, Pastor Mark shared a brief message with us about the importance of this new facility and how it would be used to share the love of Christ with thousands of children and their parents in the years to come.
With hard hats adorned, Mrs. Pat Conner, Children's Minister, led us all in a countdown as our dignitaries and represented children prepared to turn the dirt. As the confetti cannons went off, the dirt was turned signaling the beginning of the 13-month construction phase of the project.
We left inspired and motivated to see how the Lord is going to continue to use us individually and as a church to reach this region and the world for Christ!
