In our new building, Creek Kids preschoolers will find themselves making all sorts of new friends in their classrooms!  Among their new friends ill be large, colorful, fun underwater animals.  Each classroom will be named for a water creature, and the full-sized murals will leave no doubt as to which creatures live where.  Parents and children alike will enjoy marveling at the animals God created to live under water. Things are moving rapidly toward completion of our new Children's Building.  Our original targeted goal for substantial completion remains August 1, 2008.   Our General Contractor, Tellepsen, has confirmed that we are on target with that set date.  We still have that date fixed in our minds, as well. There are a substantial number of items needing to be completed. At the end of June we were 83.8% finished with the construction of the total project.

Off-site parking is now easier than ever. The new "Bus Depot," adjacent to the Worship Center, is finally completed. The new covered area allows several buses to drop off and pick up passengers at the same time, all while keeping riders protected from the weather. New lighting on the columns will help with early morning or late night events also. Riders find it an easy way to get to the multiple off-site parking areas.

Work on the Transportation Center canopy should be completed by mid week, February 12th. All of the underground utilities, street widening and sidewalks have now been completed. This leaves the tie-in of new Avadek canopy system to the new building between the Christian Life Center and Worship Center Buildings yet to be done. This tie-in will be done after the brick work is complete on that side of the new building.
